Your first domain was already added once your account was created, To add additional domains follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the **[Inventory](https://my.cynergy.app/inventory)**** **section and click the “ADD DOMAIN” button.

2. Once clicked on the button there will be a form introduced, that will enable you to add the domain.

**The format Cynergy accepts is - “mydomain.com”**




> ℹ️ **Avoid** adding the http:// or https:// prefix and any subdomain 
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ Negative examples:

> ℹ️ [http://mydomain.com](http://mydomain.com) 
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ [https://mydomain.com](https://mydomain.com) 
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ [http://www.mydomain.com](http://www.mydomain.com)

Note that you can add multiple domains at the same time by pressing the “+ADD” button or exclude a domain by pressing the X button




The default configuration is set so that once you have added a domain, there will be a scan to discover leaked credentials of employees.

To avoid the employee credential scan remove the V sign from the “Scan Employees” 




3. Once done with the configuration, you are ready to add your first domain.

To see that your domain was added successfully, you will notice it in the domain list, in your domain inventory, and you will notice the running discovery scan in the [activity log](https://my.cynergy.app/activity-log) for this domain.

4. Verify the domain

Verifying the domain will allow you to run active scans on the domain assets.

To do so go to the **[Inventory](https://my.cynergy.app/inventory)**** **section under the “Top Level Domain” tab and select the domain you want to verify.

You will notice a column called “Validated” and a button. Once you click on the button you will get the configuration details you would need to add to your DNS “TXT” records called “cynergy_verify”

Once verified you will get a success notification and the button color will change to blue. 


Now you are good to go with your domain.
