Cynergy has 3 main types of scanning:

1. Passive scanning.
2. Active scanning.
3. Internal active scan with proxy.

The first type of passive scan is mainly expressed in the essential Discovery and Employees scan (Marked in Green)

The client log systems are getting noise. Definition of noise. Cynergy accesses all domain hosts, performs a scan of the top 50 ports, and for every open port Cynergy accesses and tries to take a screenshot. 

In addition, if there are default access methods enabled, the system will try to use them.  
So what you will see while being scanned is a scan attempt and access to all identified services. For services running default authentication mechanisms, you should see an authentication attempt using default credentials to the services.

**Most banks and security organizations will be very sensitive to this type of scanning. **

**Although passive scans create noise, there is no damage potential in them. No load, nor any other impact to be expected, only logs and alerts about potential scanning activity against the domain, depending on the sensitivity level of the alerting mechanisms. **

Active scans are very intensive as they attempt to identify vulnerabilities. From mapping all open ports to scanning and implementing vulnerabilities, these scans have the potential for damage:  
A. **Light load on the service **- usually very negligible.  
B. In very unusual situations, we may reach a service that is vulnerable to such a level that it will cause a **temporary Denial of Service**.  
Active scans are marked in red.
