In the dashboard, you see a number that indicates the number of assets per selected domain or domains.

This number indicates a combined number of several items which are considered by Cynergy as assets:

- **Live subdomains **- Organizations may have many subdomains that were created historically yet don’t resolve to IP addresses. Cynergy ignores these unresolved subdomains and calculates the number of live accessible subdomains.
- Why subdomains are regarded as assets?
  - Because Cynergy has several scans that run on the subdomain level such as the Vulnerability assessment and WAF scan.

- **Unique IPs** - Some IPs may be associated to a single or multiple subdomains for example 12.12.12.12. may be associated with [aaa.example.com](http://aaa.example.com) and [bbb.example.com](http://bbb.example.com). So instead of counting the same 12.12.12.12 IP twice, Cynergy will only count it once. In addition, Cynergy will count any IP that was manually added and is live.
- **Cloud Instances (Optional)** - Based on integration to the Cloud, Cynergy would count the number of instances in the account.
